Blogger Backgrounds

If I had my child to raise all over again,
I'd finger paint more, and point the finger less.
I'd do less correcting, and more connecting.
I'd take my eyes off my watch, and watch with my eyes.
I would care to know less, and know to care more.
I'd take more hikes and fly more kites.
I'd stop playing serious, and seriously play.
I'd run through more fields, and gaze at more stars.
I'd do more hugging, and less tugging.
I would be firm less often, and affirm much more.
I'd build self-esteem first, and the house later.
I'd teach less about the love of power.
And more about the power of love.

Do I understand your baby widget--that you are due in 5 days? My my. How exciting. I have to confess coveting. What a BLESSING. Soon you will be holding your baby.

I have your blog open in my background as I work listening to the beautiful music. Thank you for posting. Love the images you use and the posts. I'll be adding you to my Sunday meme--but you might be too busy to see it.

I will be checking your blog for baby details...and praying for a safe and quick delivery.

Sorry Robyn, I see its your dd-- You are going to be holding your grand baby any day. [red faced] I need to learn to read before commenting.

Looking forward to hearing about the baby.

I love this post! I am visiting you due to the post on Heart of Wisdom.

I am a mother of 2 under the age of 4. There are times I know I will regret that I didn't stop and just enjoy the moment more. I keep praying for the wisdom to stop more often. It can be overwhelming some days though, when all you've done is play the same thing 100 times. But I am trying to remember I'm planting seeds of worth. I pray I stop more than I say 'not now'!

Blessings to you and your dd!
